NCRE Enjoys Jean Monnet Funding Success

The National Centre for Research on Europe (NCRE) has again been recognized as a global leader in its field after one of its most successful rounds of European Union Jean Monnet funding to date.  With a success rate of only twenty six percent, the Centre pulled off something of a coup, securing funding for an international conference, a module on EU Business Law and, most importantly, a new Jean Monnet Chair in Culture and Identity for Dr. Natalia Chaban.

Dr. Natalia Chaban is the second academic from the Centre to hold a chair after Prof. Martin Holland, bringing the total number of Jean Monnet Chairs in Australasia to five; a similar total to those held in Japan and Korea.
